| Today we had a long trip.as we left Naples and drove to Pompeii to see the ruins of this old city which was completely ruined when Mt. Vesuvius erupted many years ago. Pompeii was overwhelmed by a torrent of mud, thirty feet high, in the eruption of 79 A. D. |
